About RMGA
Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance (RMGA) was established as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2014. It is the only organization focusing on mountain goat conservation across all of the United States and Canada.

Activities are broken into three programs: citizen science, educational projects, and the research and conservation grants.

The citizen science projects are carried out by RMGA members and volunteers, in partnership with local agency and Indigenous wildlife managers, conducting mountain goat counts within various regions.

The educational program relates to the development of educational material including hunter training, citizen science volunteer training, and supporting student education.

RMGA facilitates the science and conservation committee which consists of biologists, wildlife managers, and academia who provide their mountain goat expertise and review all grant applications.
RMGA's Goals
Fund and support science and research
Public engagement and education
