Granting Program
SCC Projects Funded with RMGA Conservation Dollars
RMGA has long been known for its backcountry volunteer projects, public outreach, and educational materials. Thanks to our supporting members and sponsors, we are able to fund specific research and fieldwork beyond building our organization and hosting our own projects.
When grant applications are submitted, the proposal is first analyzed by the RMGA Science & Conservation Committee. After the project costs and details are understood for each application and all questions answered, the committee completes an evaluation rubric. Projects supported by the Science & Conservation Committee are then submitted to the Board of Directors for final funding approval.
