RMGA relies heavily on our dedicated volunteers, who give their time to assist us in carrying out our mission. We offer various volunteer opportunities, including our flagship citizen-science goat counts, where volunteers aid wildlife managers in monitoring the health and population of local mountain goat populations. Participating in these activities enhances your understanding of the local ecology and contributes to the progress of conserving these iconic animals.

Goat counts are facilitated in Canada and the United States, and are open to all members and if there is room, others are able to participate as well. Please join RMGA in our efforts to make a difference in the conservation of mountain goats.
